In the last decade or so the practice of Reiki healing has gained recognition. The passion for energy healing has blossomed and many people are reaching out. Many people are looking for holistic techniques to supplement conventional medical care that can support their physical, emotional, and spiritual welfare as the interest in energy healing has exploded. We are now finally acknowledged as much more than our physical bodies. While this is an exciting period, analyzing and comparing various approaches can sometimes be perplexing.
There are many energy healing practises, each with significant distinctions. In acupuncture, tiny needles are placed to stimulate particular energy points, restoring the body's energy in the process. Similar principles apply to acupressure, which makes use of hard finger pressure. Other types of energy healing practitioners have trained and educated to manipulate shift or remote areas with blocked or sluggish energy to assist in restoring the body's balance and harmony. What makes Reiki unique, and if so, how?
Let's first examine the Precepts, the cornerstone of the Reiki method.
These are what they are:
- The key to acquiring happiness through several blessings
- The spiritual cure for every ailment
- Only this day
- Do not get agitated
- Be at ease
- Be appreciative
- Keep practising
- Mind your own and other people's feelings.
Worrying results in the same thing. Consider it right now. How many issues have you been concerned about today? Not that Reiki practitioners don't worry; in fact, when I first started writing this piece, the very concept of it drove me into a tailspin. We continuously encounter elements of circumstances that could potentially lead us to feel quite anxious in the world we live in. In order to better maintain a condition of balance and harmony, the key is to learn how to control it and avoid letting it take over your life. We can only be healthy in this state.
